Get close-up look at enforcement vehicle

Members of the Washington Kiwanis Club were treated to a detailed tour of a Washington Police Cruiser as part of a program presented by Police Chief Mike Davis. At their regular Tuesday lunch meeting, Kiwanians heard the chief (center above) tell about the car’s capabilities and performance, its radar and communications systems, and its engine and tire specifications.

With help from Lt. Benny Johnson and Philiph Perkins, Davis also demonstrated the car’s camera system which is automatically activated when the flashing blue lights are switched on. Bob Simmons was program chairman for the day.
