Seniors can get free legal help from GLSP on Sept. 6
Members of the Georgia Legal Services Program staff will be in Wilkes County to meet with senior citizens wanting free legal help, on a first-come, first-served basis.
Anyone who is a senior citizen 60 years of age or older and who has a civil (non-criminal) legal issue, may be able to receive help.
A member of the GLSP staff will be in Wilkes County to meet with seniors who want free legal help from 10 a.m. until 12:00 on Tuesday, September 6, at the Wilkes County Senior Center, 108 Marshall Street, Washington.
The GLSP office which serves Wilkes County is in Augusta at 209 Seventh Street, Suite 400. Senior citizens may ask for help with legal problems by calling the toll-free number, 1-800-6697, or by meeting with the staff member during the scheduled visits.
