Ga. Legal Services offers free help with civil problems

The Georgia Legal Services Program (GLSP) provides free legal help to low-income people with civil non-criminal) legal problems.

A staff member from GLSP will travel to meet with people wanting free legal help in Wilkes, Taliaferro, and Lincoln counties on the first Tuesday of each month on a firstcome, first-served basis.

The next scheduled visit is on Tuesday, September 6, from 12:30 p.m. until 3 p.m., at the Mary Willis Library, 204 East Liberty Street, Washington.

The GLSP office which serves Wilkes, Taliaferro, and Lincoln counties is in Augusta at 209 Seventh Street, Suite 400. Citizens may call the office to ask for help with legal problems or meet with the staff during scheduled visits. The toll-free number for the Augusta office is 1800-248-6697.
