The 22nd annual presentation of “His Last Days,” an outdoor musical passion drama, is scheduled for Labor Day weekend, Saturday, September 3, and Sunday, September 4.

The drama will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the outdoor amphitheater next to Tallulah Gallery in Tallulah Falls on old route 441 along scenic Tallulah Gorge Drive.

The drama presents the last days of the life of Jesus in a natural outdoor setting. A cast and choir of persons from churches both local and across several states portray the powerful story of Jesus’ earthly ministry.

Those attending are asked to bring lawn chairs and any items needed to be comfortable out-of-doors. Rain is always possible, but the drama will continue following a rain delay, so rain gear is recommended.

Contributions in support of the drama and the ministries of Broken Vessels Renewal Ministries will be received.

A hamburger/hotdog supper begins each evening at 6 p.m., sponsored by the Rabun Area United Methodist Men’s Club.

The drama began through the efforts of former Wilkes Countians, Carol Johnson Murphy, and her husband, Rev. Robert N. Murphy, executive director of Broken Vessels Renewal Ministries, and is sponsored by Broken Vessels.

For additional information or to participate in the drama, interested persons should call Mrs. Murphy at 706-769-5271.
