Funeral services for William B. Collins, 91, of Tignall, were held Tuesday, August 23, 2005, at the Mallorysville Baptist Church, Tignall, with Rev. Donnie Berry officiating. Interment was in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Elberton. He died August 21.

Mr. Collins was a native of Wilkes County and was the son of the late W.E. Collins and Lula Estelle Johnson Collins. He served in the United States Army and worked in Civil Service as an inspector at Robins Field, Warner Robins, where he retired after 35 years of service. He was a member of Mallorysville Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of more than 60 years, Lorene Smith Collins; and a brother, Edward Collins, Macon.

Hopkins Funeral Home of Washington was in charge of arrangements.
