Three Wilkes County residents were among the 561 students receiving degrees from Piedmont College at the July 23 commencement ceremonies.

The students are:

Ann Nicole Bailey, education specialist (Ed.s);

Kiki Evans, magna cum laude, bachelor of arts (B.A.) in early childhood education; and

Erin Fairlight Frost, education specialist (Ed. S).

Piedmont College is an independent liberal arts college of about 2,200 students with campuses located in Demorest and Athens.
