Tamikka Stephens Mr. and Mrs. Drendell Gartrell of Washington and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Stephens of Columbus, Ohio, announce the engagement of their daughter, Tamikka Stephens, of Athens, to Kokley Scott, son of Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Faulkner, all of Athens.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Hattie Bell Acree and the late Rural Thomas and the late Corinne and Quinnie Stephens, all of Washington.

Miss Stephens is a l996 graduate of Washington-Wilkes Comprehensive High School and is employed by InVista of Athens.

Mr. Scott is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Brooks of Athens.

He is a l991 graduate of Cedar Shoals High School and is employed by Mickey’s First Generation, both in Athens.

A private ceremony is planned for Friday, September 9. Family and friends are cordially invited to a reception on Saturday, September 10, at 7 p.m. at the bride’s home at 145 Sweetbriar Court in Watkinsville.
