Saturday guests of Mrs. Sam Bonner were Mr. and Mrs. Randall Pettus of Buford.

Mr. and Mrs. David Peek of Vero Beach, Fla., left Monday after a week’s visit with her grandmother, Mrs. Marion Newsome. While in the area they also visited relatives in Atlanta and Mr. and Mrs. Jamie Newsome in Augusta.

• Visiting several days last week with Miss Betty Slaton were her cousins, Mrs. Lucy Chadwick of Columbia, S.C., and Mrs. Helen Dixon of Atlanta.

Mr. and Mrs. Keith Winn of Boston, Mass., visited during the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hollis Winn. They were in Washington to celebrate the Winns’ fiftieth wedding anniversary. On Saturday evening they were met in Athens by Zach Winn and guest, Erin, for dinner.

Mell and Barbara Adkins of Greenville were weekend guests of his cousin, Minan Blanchard Maxwell. On Saturday evening they attended the Oglethorpe County High School reunion gathering with classmates from the Classes of l956-l960. John Blanchard of Athens joined his sister and her guests for dinner Sunday at the Maxwell home in Washington.

Visiting last Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. James Tyler were Larry Tyler and Natalie of Dunwoody. Guests of the Tylers over the weekend were Mrs. Lois Scott of Clarkston and Mrs. Louise Wright of Snellville. Mrs. Richard Tyler joined the family during the weekend. On Saturday afternoon they all visited Mrs. Leonard Scott in Lincolnton.
