Springfield Baptist Church in the Whitehall community of Washington will celebrate the tenth anniversary of the pastor, Rev. Norman Williams, on Sunday, August 28, at 4 p.m.

The guest speaker for the program will be Archbishop Jimmie L. Smith, senior pastor of The Light of the World Christian Tabernacle International in Decatur.

Archbishop Smith is a native of Lithonia and is the presiding prelate of The Light of the World Interdenominational International Association that oversees ministries in 28 countries. He is married to Pastor Ruth Williams Smith.
