36th annual Pancake Supper set for October 21
Donning starched white aprons in preparation for the annual Rotary Club Pancake Supper are (l-r) Charlie LeGette, Michael Horgan, Mildred Peeler, and Dr. Randy Clayton. A local favorite for 36 years, the event is scheduled for 5-7:30 p.m. at the Washington-Wilkes Elementary School cafeteria just prior to the Tigers vs. Warren County homecoming football game Friday, October 21. The menu, as always, includes freshly cooked pancakes and sausage served by members of the Rotary Club as well as by members of the W-WCHS Interact Club. Tickets for the supper are $5.00 each available from any Rotarian or at the door. Proceeds are used for local scholarships and other local youth programs sponsored by the Rotary Club.
