I’m so glad fall has arrived and I’m thankful that it’s cooler and for the rain. Ebenezer Baptist Church will have a fall festival November 5. I hope you can come and enjoy the games, food and fellowship. Ebenezer was a little down in attendance Sunday. Some were sick, some out-of-town for one reason or another, and some just plain lazy. Rev. Huyck preached from Hebrews 13 – “Some Things Never Change.” Mr. and Mrs. Paul Peeler placed a lovely arrangement in the church. If you do not have a church family, Ebenezer welcomes you to visit. If you’d like to know more about the church, call our pastor, Rev. Albert W. Huyck Jr. Happy birthday to all of you who will celebrate this week. I have one on October 10 and I’m grateful for every one. Lisa Burt celebrates one on the fifteenth and Richard Phillips, the twelfth. This week I attended revival services at Mt. Zion on Tuesday evening. I also enjoyed supper with them.
