Marvin Ray Adams
Funeral services for Marvin Ray Adams, 67, of Washington will be held Thursday, October 13, 2005, at the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church with Rev. Kathy Lamon officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. He died Tuesday, October 11, in the University Hospital, Augusta.
Mr. Adams was a native of McDuffie County and was the son of the late Marvin Albert Adams and Virginia Holliman Adams. He had lived in Wilkes County for 40 years. He was a water treatment technician and served in the National Guard. He was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Moore Adams; two daughters, Beverly Adams, Woodstock, and Sheila Rogers, Washington; two grandchildren, Kimberly and Tiffany Rogers; and two brothers, Roy Adams and James Terry Adams of Thomson.
Pallbearers will include Alex Dunaway, Wade Dunnaway, Troy Adams, Larry Adams, Jason Crozier, and Lance Irby.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Building Fund.
