McGruff and Rocky visit W-WPS during Red Ribbon Week

Students in the Washington-Wilkes Primary School Kindergarten have been learning about the importance of staying drug free, and have had several visitors to give them information during Red Ribbon week. In the picture at left, Jimmy Harrison from the Wilkes County Sheriff’s Department demonstrates how welltrained his partner, “Rocky,” is and the children got to see Rocky at work. In the top picture, the children listen to Sergeant Ruckers and McGruff the Crime Dog from the Elberton Police Department talk about the importance of staying drug-free.
