CSRA Home Health recognized for quality improvement efforts

Quality improvement efforts at CSRA Home Health Agency are being noticed. The agency has received recognition for “statistically significant improvement” in its work with patients requiring emergent care services.

“CSRA Home Health Agency is pleased that its quality improvement efforts have earned this recognition,” said Angie Echols, the agency’s director of professional services. “We are even more pleased at how the work of our dedicated staff positively impacts the quality of care for our patients.”

A plaque recognizing the agency’s quality improvement was recently presented to the agency by Georgia Medical Care Foundation, the Medicare Quality Improvement Organization of Georgia.

Georgia Medical Care Foundation works with home health agencies participating in the Home Health Quality Initiative (HHQI), which is administered through the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). CMS is an agency of the US Department of Health and Human Services.

CSRA Home Health provides home health care for residents throughout Wilkes, Taliaferro, Greene, Morgan, Lincoln, Oglethorpe and Elbert Counties.
