Mabel Johnson and Faye Durham represented the Washington-Wilkes Garden Club at the Azalea District, Garden Club of Georgia, Inc., meeting Wednesday, October 19, in Augusta at the Augusta Country Club.

New District Director, Suzanne Wheeler of Hartwell, presided and welcomed everyone. Greetings were also extended from new State President, Dolly T. Harper, also of Hartwell.

Karen Way, house manager of the Augusta Ronald McDonald House, presented a most interesting and informative program. The Ronald McDonald House is a project of the Deep South Garden Club of which the Azalea District is a part. Clubs collect the tabs from drink and other cans in support of the Ronald McDonald project.

A delicious luncheon was enjoyed.
