Samantha Faith Wheatley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Greg Wheatley, celebrated her fifth birthday on Saturday, October 15, with a party at Pine Point Camping Club.

Samantha was treated to a Barbie as F a i r y t o p i a party and her s t a n d u p Barbie doll cake was displayed and surrounded with cupcakes accented with butterflies. Ice cream was served with the cake along with other assorted party foods.

The children enjoyed games of telephone, musical dress bag and pulling strings from the Fairytopia piñata. They also had fun playing on the playground.

Celebrating with Samantha and her parents were Mr. and Mrs. Mike Davis and Rebecca, Mr. and Mrs. Carlton Norris, Douglas Wheatley, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Wheatley of Athens, Jason Wheatley and Colton of Hayesville, N.C., Mrs. Ryan Hite and Will, Kimberly Phan, Mrs. Bruce Lamar and Alex, Mrs. Jimmy Harkins and Samantha, Mrs. Bob Holley, Alyssa and Ashlyn, Mrs. Tony Gallo, Lawrence and Eve, Mr. and Mrs. Shane Harper, Adam, Caitlyn and Sydney, Crystal Purdy, Andy Jackson, Mrs. Tim Purdy and Lauren Chafin.

The day before her birthday Samantha celebrated with her classmates at Washington-Wilkes Primary School Pre-Kindergarten. The children enjoyed cupcakes, Cheese Puffs and Kool-Aid.
