Pet of the week

This handsome orange and white cat is young, neutered, and vaccinated. He’s good-natured and needs a loving home.
A cat’s sense of smell is better than ours. Their hearing is even better than a dog’s hearing. They can detect the high-pitched squeak made by rodents that even dogs don’t hear. It’s no wonder they are such good mousers. They can also see six times better in poor light than we can.
Call the Washington-Wilkes Animal Shelter at 678-CATS and make a cat part of your family.
