It has been a busy week. Students and teachers are preparing for the end of the six weeks, basketball season is coming to an end, and holiday activities are going on.

The third six-weeks grading period ends on December 16 with report cards to be sent home January 5, 2006. Parents and students may access the Online Assessment System starting December 16. This is a website to help prepare students for the upcoming CRCT. The site may be accessed by going to http://www.regionk.georgiaoas.org. A parent guide will be sent home soon.

The W-WMS Tiger basketball teams hosted Taliaferro County on Wednesday, December 7. The Lady Tigers played first and what a good game it was. The ladies won with a score of 38-32. The Tigers also played an awesome game Wednesday. It was another close win of 48-46. Keep up the good work all you Tiger fighters!

Another contest has commenced here at W-WMS, and this time it is a door decorating contest. All teachers get a chance to let their extendedlearning time classes show off their creativity and garnish the doors of the school. Doorways, most everywhere, bring holiday spirit into the building. The prize for the most creative door has not yet been announced but expectations are still running high.

The Middle School will host a Christmas Program including the WWMS band and chorus programs. The program will begin at 9 a.m. on December 16. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone.
