We had a good day at Clifford’s Grove Baptist Church Sunday. During the worship service, Karmen Moon sang a beautiful Christmas song. The Candle of Joy was lighted and Rev. Martin preached another good Christmas message from the second chapter of Luke. After services, everyone enjoyed the bountiful covered dish meal and the good fellowship. We were happy to hear that Evans Davis had a good report from his heart doctor in Augusta Friday, but he had the misfortune of falling and breaking a rib. We hope he will soon recover from that. Mrs. Juanita Bradford and Brad Sutherland visited Mr. and Mrs. Evans Davis Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Louise Phelps and her sonin law, Jimmy Cranford of Athens, visited Mr. and Mrs. James Sherrer Tuesday morning. Mr. and Mrs. James Sherrer were among the seniors who enjoyed the Christmas luncheon at Tignall Baptist Church Monday.
