Funeral services for Johnny Norman, 44, were held Sunday, December 11, 2005, at Reeves Chapel Baptist Church, Tignall, with Rev. John Tatum officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. He died Wednesday, December 7, at his residence.

Mr. Norman was a native of Wilkes County and was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Norman Jr.

Survivors include his parents, Henry and Bessie Norman of Tignall; three sisters, Teresa Norman and Marilyn Norman of Tignall, and Luvie Norman of Rayle; four brothers, Willie James Walton of Savannah, Robert Lee and Randy Norman, Tignall, and Henry Gene Norman, Athens.

Pallbearers included Tim Moss, Willie James Walton, Cordell McLendon, Willie Norman, Freddie Walton, and Bennie Cade.

McLendon Memorial Funeral Home of Washington was in charge of arrangements.
