Members of the Woman’s Club enjoyed a program of Christmas music at the meeting Monday, December 12, at the clubhouse.

Mary Duggan and Jo Randall presented a wonderful program of Christmas favorites. Mrs. Randall, pianist, accompanied singers, Shirley Gunter, Patricia Burton, Mary Duggan, Buzzy Randall, Tom Wells, Tom Duggan and Jim Burton, as they sang a collection of secular and religious carols. Included was a rendition of “The Twelve Days of Christmas” with all the club members participating. Barbara Roberts presided.

Hostesses were Sharleen Anderson, Nancy Sisson, Cheryl Bentley and Mary Donna Lunceford and Emilie Waters decorated the Christmas tree.

Members brought gifts for residents of Wilkes Health Care.

They were also reminded that tickets are available for the John Duggan Memorial Scholarship dinner to be held February 13 and were encouraged to purchase tickets for the Spring Tour of Homes for Christmas gifts.

The January meeting will feature a representative of the Georgia Municipal Association of Atlanta.
