The Willing Workers Sunday School Class of the First United Methodist Church were in Martinez Sunday afternoon, December 9, to attend the Singing Christmas Tree at Abilene Baptist Church on Washington Road.

After attending the morning worship service, the class boarded the van and stopped for a quick lunch in Thomson. En route home from the wonderful service of Christmas music, they had dinner at the Cracker Barrel.

Enjoying the program were John and Marjorie Morrow, Gertrude Tyler, Claudelle Bonner, Lewis and Ann Cook, Henry Moone, Shari Bryson, Dot Branham and Wanda White.
