Robert Matthew Shedd, son of Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Shedd of Rayle, celebrated his sixth birthday on November 18.

Matt celebrated with his kindergarten class at the WashingtonWilkes Primary School on his birthday. He and his classmates enjoyed cupcakes, Cheetos, and drinks and each received a goody bag.

On November 19, Matt was guest of honor at a party in the Mary Callaway Burton Fellowship Hall. The hall was decorated in a cowboy theme with red tablecloths and cowboy boots with red and blue balloons. A lunch of hotdogs and chili was served with all the trimmings.

Matt’s cake, made by his mother, featured a ranch scene.

After lunch Matt and his guests enjoyed playing on the playground.

Celebrating with Matt and his parents were his brothers, Mil and Morgan; grandparents, Rev. and Mrs. W. C.
