Miss Catherine Hessert entertained the Daughters of the King of the Episcopal Church of the Mediator at dinner Wednesday evening, December 14, at her home on Cynthia Lane.

A beautiful Christmas tree and other Christmas decorations added a festive air to the evening.

The dining table held lighted candles, fresh holiday greenery and berries.

Miss Hessert prepared a delicious dinner of roast beef with horseradish sauce, potato casserole, lima beans, Harvard beets, slaw with pineapple, rolls and lime sherbet with raspberry sauce for dessert.

Members enjoyed a gift exchange and fellowship after dinner.

Joining Miss Hessert were Mrs. Billy Gunter, Mrs. Mell Lunceford, Mrs. Frank Lee, Miss Betty Slaton and Mrs. Paul Barnett.
