Classes in Spanish Level I will be held at the Athens Technical College Career Opportunity Center in Washington January 24 through March 7.

The classes will be held on Tuesdays from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Adult Learning Center behind McDonald’s at a cost of $85. Students are required to bring a Spanish to English dictionary to class.

The course is for those who want to understand and communicate with the growing Hispanic population. It is ideal for the traveler who is planning a trip to a country where Spanish is the primary language.

The instructor has lived and traveled in several Spanish speaking countries and has extensive experience in teaching conversational Spanish.
