Hunter is a real hunter
     Six-year-old Hunter Armour of Rayle lived up to his name recently by killing his first deer. His mother Angela said that he was hunting in Taliaferro County with his father Greg when he came upon this young 3-point buck. Hunter shot his buck with a .22 Hornet.

Little League meeting is set for coach, volunteer signups
     Organizers for the WashingtonWilkes Little League program are continuing to stay ahead of schedule in preparing for the 2006 season. An organizational meeting scheduled for next Monday, January 9, will be the venue for coaches and volunteers to sign up and to receive information.
