Organizers for the WashingtonWilkes Little League program are continuing to stay ahead of schedule in preparing for the 2006 season. An organizational meeting scheduled for next Monday, January 9, will be the venue for coaches and volunteers to sign up and to receive information.

The meeting is set for 6:30 p.m. in the café at Wills Memorial Hospital and will include a discussion of plans for the annual Little League Day.

Signup for players will begin on January 16 and continue through February 17 at the office at Ashley Park. Over 300 young athletes signed up for the 2005 season and it is hoped that even more will participate this year.
