Transforming Life Ministries will sponsor a Love Fellowship worship service for Carolyn Cook Binns on Sunday, February 5, 4 p.m., at the Third Shiloh Mission Center. Rev. Roy Andrews will deliver the message. The Cook and Binns families, Rocky Mount Baptist Church, and the Class of 1972 will be special guests.
Black history will be celebrated during February with a community market day in the historical Reese J. Booker playground and Whitehall Street. An AARP Safe Driving Course will be held in the Conference Room of the First Baptist Church February 13 and 14, from 1 to 5 p.m. Persons interested can reduce their insurance premium by attending this class. Attendance will entitle participants to threeyear reduction in their automobile insurance premium. Cost for the course is $10 per person, payable to AARP.
