Washington Faith in Action and First United Methodist Church are hoping to take some of the mystery out of the new rules on prescription drug insurance for seniors.

They’re bringing together experts on making the new plan work in a seminar Tuesday afternoon, January 24, at the Edward B. Pope Center at 3:30.

“Come get help with your individual choices,” said organizer Rev. Gail Seibert. “And everyone is welcome – caretakers as well as individuals directly impacted by these changes.”

Pharmacists Henry Bowen of CVS and Joey Fievet of Fievet Pharmacy will explain the choices and how they affect individuals differently.

“Presenters will include Brant McConkey , a representative from InStill, a South Carolina company,” Rev. Seibert said, “and Dr. Joe Harris, director of Faith in Action is an expert who will join the others in answering questions.”

The meeting is open to anyone who needs help or information on the new prescription drug plan. For more information, call FUMC at 678-7116.
