It’s not too late to sign up to learn basic Spanish for the workplace and travel – and the class needs more people, Polly Fievet says.

“Athens Technical College’s Wilkes County Training Programs will be holding classes in Spanish Level I at the Adult Learning Center behind McDonalds in Washington,” she said, “from January 24 through March 7.”

But the registration deadline is Friday, she said, so anyone who is interested in learning basic Spanish should call her now at 678-7647.

The class costs $85, and will be held Tuesday evenings from 6 to 9 p.m.
