Jean Elizabeth Lannae Russell Warren Rainey Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Carlyon Wells Jr. and Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Lamont Lannae Jr., of Washington announce the engagement of their daughter, Jean Elizabeth Lannae, to Russell Warren Rainey, son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Curtis Rainey of Buchanan.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. James Herbert Cole Jr. and the late Mr. Cole of LaFayette and the late Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Lamont Lannae of Washington.

She is a l993 honor graduate of Washington-Wilkes Comprehensive High School and a l998 graduate of Georgia Southern University in Statesboro where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Real Estate and is a member of Alpha Omicron Pi sorority. Miss Lannae is employed as a Real Estate Sales Associate and Site Manager of Highgrove at Williamsburg with Prudential Beazley Real Estate in Evans.

Mr. Rainey is the grandson of Mrs. Glenn Rainey and the late Mr. Rainey of Buchanan and the late Mr. and Mrs. D. L. Hughes of Felton.

He is a l993 graduate of Haralson County Comprehensive High School, attended Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College and is a graduate of Kerr Business College of Augusta. Mr. Rainey is employed with the insurance company of Larry Ogletree & Associates in Augusta.

The wedding is planned for Saturday, May 6, at 7 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Washington with a reception to follow at the Washington-Wilkes Country Club.
