Mr. and Mrs. William A. Pope were hosts for the fourth annual Pope Quail Supper at their home on West Robert Toombs Avenue, Friday evening, December 23. Joining the Popes in entertaining were daughters, Ridley and Elizabeth.

The house was festively decorated for the holiday season and tables were beautifully appointed for the seated occasion.

Everyone brought their favorites to complement the quail providing a bountiful dinner and delicious desserts.

A special guest for the evening was Elizabeth Barnett Pope’s fiancé, Jason Aaron Smithgall of Atlanta.

Family members celebrating the occasion with the hosts were Charlotte Pope Simmons and her family, Walter and Taylor Simmons Ollerich and Julie Simmons of Atlanta, Clint and Elizabeth Simmons Cummins and son, Grey Robert, of Folsom, La., and Robert and Tara Simmons Jr. of Washington; Edward and Susan Pope and children, Edward and Susan Pope III and son, Wesley, of Washington; and Pembroke and Sandra Pope III of Acworth and family, Pembroke and Chrissie Pope IV and son, Jackson, of Canton and Mel and Sunshine Pope McBride and children, Sydney and Luke, of Kennesaw.
