An adult basketball league is being formed by the WashingtonWilkes Parks and Recreation Department for commercial and civic, ladies and men’s leagues.

Teams should begin forming and a team representative must attend a special meeting on Monday, February 27, at 5:30 p.m., at the Parks and Recreation Department, 22 Lexington Avenue.

Registration will be held from February 27 through March 1, at a cost of $400 per team ($50 per game). Eight games will be played at the Parks and Recreation Gym.

The league is for persons 18 years old and older. Games will be played on Saturdays from 4:30 to 8:45 p.m.; and on Sundays from 2 until 5 p.m.
