The Washington Optimist Club hosted the Georgia District Optimist International Zone 6 meeting on Tuesday, January 17, at the Jockey Club. Zone 6 consists of clubs from Washington, Hartwell, Winder, and Athens. The guest speaker was Georgia District Governor Elect Rose Kohler. She talked about the need to formulate and share new ideas to better serve our youth.
