Things have slowed down by the way of extra curricular activities at W-WMS. Aside from wrestling, there are no other sports currently. As for wrestling, there is a match taking place Friday, January 27. This match will be held at Washington-Wilkes Elementary School.

There are also two special events coming up for the Beta and honor roll students. Honors night is on February 6 and invitations are currently being sent out. Much closer to now is the Beta induction on June 26. It starts Thursday at 7 p.m.

On the other hand, school has been as busy as ever. The CRCT writing test has ended and progress reports went out on January 24.

W-WMS also has six students of the month with two students from each grade level. The sixth grade students are Brittany Guin and Savalas Mercier. The seventh grade students are Mary Ellen Murphy and John Pope and the eighth grade students are Michael Edwards and Crystal Milton.
