During the next few weeks, Jackson Chapel AME Church, 318 Whitehall Street, Washington, will have several special programs to which the public is invited.

A Gospel Festival is set for Saturday, February 18, at 6 p.m., at the church. Anyone interested in participating in this festival should contact Felicia Echols at 706-678-2013, during business hours, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Gospel choirs and groups of the year will be featured at the church on Sunday, February 19, at 3 p.m. Gospel choruses, choirs, and ensembles are invited to register and participate.

The committee is planning to provide a special recognition to the groups who have the most participants present. Persons interested in participating should call 706-6785557 to register and leave the name of the group, contact person, mailing address, and a phone number where the contact person can be reached during evening hours.
