John Hammond, headmaster of Briarwood Academy, has announced the list of students who have been named to the honor roll and the merit list for the second nine weeks grading period of the 20052006 school year.

HONOR ROLL

Students named to the honor roll must have maintained a grade point average of 90 or above with no grade below 90.

Wilkes County students recognized for Honor Roll are Alli Bennett, Hunter Callaway, Lathan Roberson, Austin Hardy, Mason Jones, Cecelia Walker, Ethan Jones, Jarrett Keen, John Bounds, Russell Burdette, Brandy Ray, Tyler Edwards, Emily Henderson, Adam Hardy, Lizzie Keen, Miranda Nelson, Bonnie Bounds, Ali Dyson, Liz Grant, Angela Kirkland, and Joseph Baldwin.

MERIT LIST

Students named to the Merit List must have maintained a grade point average of 80 or above with no grade below 80.

Wilkes County students named to the Merit List are India Callaway, Jonathan Davidson, Sylvia Walker, Ty Gunter, Reagan Dyson, Justin Tucker, Trent Wilson, Ben Danner, Eli Holder, Kayley Roberson, Ryan Pritchet, Anna Goolsby, Taylor Stitcher, Chase Walker, Abby McAvoy, and Blake Stitcher.
