This Sunday is the time for our regular fifth Sunday covered dish lunch at Clifford’s Grove Baptist Church. Come join us and bring your favorite dish and enjoy an hour of good food and fellowship. Mrs. Willard Lance underwent surgery at Athens Regional Hospital Friday to repair the shoulder she injured in a fall while leaving First Baptist Church last Sunday night. She came home Saturday and is recovering nicely. Elizabeth Barber spent Friday at the hospital with her mother and dad. Willard is also having problems and was unable to teach school last week. He is experiencing muscle spasms and is undergoing tests. Mr. and Mrs. Ricky McCarty went to Sharon Sunday evening to help celebrate the first birthday of Madison Kay at a party given by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dusty Kay. Whitney Branham enjoyed spending Friday night with Erika Scott in Tignall. David Hopkins and his grandson, Seth Cook, of Augusta, visited briefly with Mr. and Mrs. James Sherrer Saturday morning. Ryan Colvard of Metasville spent Saturday night with Charlie Branham. Mrs. Cheryle Holsclaw of Union Point spent a night last week with Mr. and Mrs. Ricky McCarty. James Braxton had successful eye surgery in Athens Monday and can see much better.
