Mr. and Mrs. Claude Vinson Mr. and Mrs. Claude Vinson celebrated their 72nd wedding anniversary with family and friends at their home on West Liberty Street on Saturday, January 14.

In addition to family and friends dropping by for visits during the day, they received many calls, cards and gifts. Claude Tracy Vinson and Inez Bennett Strother were married January 14, l934, by Greenwood Baptist Church pastor, Rev. Julius Kirkland, at this home in Amity. Present for the ceremony were the mother of the bride, Mrs. Jennie Strother; grandparents of the bride, Mr. and Mrs. G. B. Bennett; Tom Edmunds and George and Janie Maude Bennett.
