Avery Nathaniel Hall, son of Mr. and Mrs. Boyce Hall of Rayle, celebrated his eighth birthday on January 20 and was honored on several occasions.

On Monday, January 16, Avery had Wes Tanner as his spend-the-night guest and they enjoyed the day at Chuck E Cheese in Athens. With Avery, his parents and Wes were his sister, Lindley, and Keaton Wilson; and Dr. and Mrs. Todd Ware, Brandon, Daniel and Zachary, who joined them from Monroe.

Avery celebrated on his birthday with his second grade class at Washington Wilkes Primary School. He shared cupcakes, Cheetos and box drinks with his classmates.

That night Avery enjoyed supper with his family at Biguns in Rayle followed by his Superman birthday cake baked by Billy Amason.

Visiting Avery to wish him a Happy Birthday over the weekend were Mr. and Mrs. Neil Frankel, Zachery and Kyle, of Crawford; Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Whittington and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Norris Ware and Mrs. Allen Hall.
