Diabetes subject of Tea and Learn

Wills Memorial Hospital hosted a Diabetes Tea and Learn Tuesday afternoon in the hospital library. Pat Neimann (l) introduced featured speakers Lisa Eskew, LPN, and Anne Myers, RN, MSN. Mrs. Myers presented an overview of diabetes, stressing terms patients needed to be familiar with. Nurse Eskew discussed how to read food labels, serving sizes, and the importance of controlling diabetes. Sissy Murray and staff prepared a diabetic friendly Chocolate Berry dessert for the 20 people attending.
