Library friends to meet, share a ‘Fine Kettle of Tales’ Feb. 9
The Friends of the Mary Willis Library will gather in the library conference room on February 9 at 3 p.m. to share a “Fine Kettle of Tales.”
The program will again feature members providing a taste of some of their favorite books or authors. Presenters are urged to come dressed in costume to reflect the personality or time of the character of author. This program has become a favorite for the annual meeting.
Refreshments and decorations will be appropriate for the them which coordinates with the annual Commemoration of the Battle of Kettle Creek in Wilkes County on February 10 and 11.
Members are reminded that dues are payable at the February meeting. The Friends of the Mary Willis Library support and focus attention upon library services, encourage gifts, endowments, and memorials for the library. In addition they provide programs of literary and cultural interest.
The public is always welcomed and invited to become a Friend of the Mary Willis Library.
