These three members of the Wilkes County 4-H Club participated in the Fifth Annual Elbert County FFA Grade Dairy Heifer Show January 28. Their ratings in showmanship were: Morgan Swann (left) honorable mention; Lauren Chafin (center) third place; and Grant Chafin (right), fourth. Morgan received second in Class 13; Lauren, fourth in Class 11; and Grant was sixth in Class 6 in the judging. In the FFA competition, Whit Chafin and Emily Martin received third places in their classes; and Trent Martin, honorable mention. In FFA Showmanship, Whit, Emily, and Trent received honorable mention. Judge for the show was Dr. Larry D. Guthrie, Professor Emeritus, UGA Animal and Dairy Science Department.
