Two Wilkes County students have been recognized for their academic achievement at Athens Christian School during the second quarter of the 2005-2006 school year.

Taylor Walker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Walker of Rayle and a third grade student at the school, was named to the honor roll which requires that a student have all A’s and B’s.

Mikki Wright, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Wright of Rayle, and a tenth grade student, was also named to the honor roll with all A’s and B’s.
