Sterling Trevor Hubbard
Graveside services for Sterling Trevor Hubbard, 29, of Union Point were held Monday, January 30, 2006, at Carter’s Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Colin Duncan officiating. He died Thursday, January 26, in the Rockdale Medical Center.
Mr. Hubbard was a native of Greene County and had lived there most of his life. He was the son of Delene Thaxton Hubbard and the late James F. Hubbard. He was a truck driver, and a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Laurel Hubbard, Rutledge; his mother, Delene Hubbard, Union Point; three brothers, Jimmy Hubbard, Carnesville, Kevin Hubbard and Brian Hubbard, Union Point; and two sisters, Ann Hubbard and Sherri Hubbard, Union Point.
Pallbearers included Rodney Stoddard, Dean Waldroup, Keith Morgan, James Colbert, Michael Woods, and Jamie Gaston.

Funeral services for Stedric Bernard McLendon, 31, were held Saturday, January 28, 2006, at the Shady Grove Baptist Church, Tignall, with Rev. R.C. Lockhart officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. He died January 22.
Mr. Mc:Lendon was the son of James Hawes and the late Cora Frances McLendon Norman.
Survivors include his father, James Hawes of Athens; stepfather, Jessie Norman, Tignall; stepmother, Eva Hawes, Washington; two brothers, Motarium Crig Norman and Jessie Jamal Norman, Tignall; grandmother, Sara Frances Hill, Tignall.
Pallbearers included Jamaar Jackson, Jason Jackson, Ben Hawes, Patrick Hawes, Thomas Williams, David Jones, Carey Hawes, and James Jones.
McLendon Memorial Funeral Home of Washington was in charge of arrangements.
