Jessica Barnes and Bryce Cacho exchange wedding vows Dec. 30
Mr. and Mrs. Bryce Daniel Tate Cacho Jessica Lynn Barnes of Hesperia, Calif., and Bryce Daniel Tate Cacho of Camp Pendleton, Calif., exchanged wedding vows Friday, December 30, at six o’clock in the evening in the Garden Room in Garden Grove, Calif. Rev. Ed Corley of Elk Park, N.C., grandfather of the bridegroom, and Rev. David Bunch of California officiated.
The bride is the daughter of James and Dawna Barnes of Hesperia, Calif.
The bridegroom is the son of Earl Cacho of Alpine, Wy., and Roslind Kirk of Washington.
The ceremony took place in the beautiful chapel before a setting of stained and etched glass. Casablanca lilies and other white flowers decorated the chapel and aisle. The bride and her attendants entered by way of the spiral staircase that led into the chapel.
Candles were lighted by the mothers of the couple.
Mariana Davies of California was the pianist.
Jimmy Sutton of Texas served as best man. Usher-groomsmen were Michael Mursick, Tim Rodriguez and J. J. Prieto, all of Victorville, Calif.
Sara Barnes of Hesperia, Calif., served as her sister’s maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kristy Mursick and Amberly Simpson of Victorville, Calif., and Chemaine Cacho of Washington, sister of the bridegroom.
They wore peridot green dresses fashioned with spaghetti-strapped bodices and carried pale pink and white roses accented with other flowers and greenery.
Nissi Rodriguez of Victorville, Calif., served as flower girl. She wore a white sleeveless dress adorned with beading to match the bride’s gown.
A.J. Marr of Beech Island, S. C., nephew of the bridegroom, was the ring bearer.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride was lovely in an elegant white strapless gown designed with a beaded bodice and flowing beaded train.
Her short veil was edged in beading.
She carried a bouquet of soft white and light pastel roses with crystal rhinestones scattered throughout.
For her daughter’s wedding Mrs. Barnes wore a sleeveless periwinkle blue full-length gown and matching jacket.
The bridegroom’s mother, Mrs. Kirk, chose a spaghetti strap periwinkle dress and wrap.
Reception
The couple was entertained at a reception in the Garden Room following the ceremony.
The bride’s table was covered in white linen and accented with peridot green napkins matching the colors in the attendants’ dresses. Adorning the table was a beautiful arrangement of tulips and roses and other flowers matching the bride’s and attendants’ bouquets.
The beautiful white-on-white wedding cake was made by the bridegroom’s sister, Chemaine Cacho, and aunt, Terry Cacho of California.
The couple left the reception in their wedding attire for a six-day cruise to the Western Caribbean.
They are making their home in Hesperia, Calif.
Rehearsal Dinner
Roslind Kirk and Earl Cacho were hosts for a rehearsal dinner honoring Jessica Barnes and Bryce Cacho at BJ’s in Cerritos, Calif., on the eve of their wedding.
A part of the bride-elect’s attire was a white shirt inscribed with the word “bride” across the front. Attendants’ shirts were marked with maid of honor and bridesmaid.
Guests were the wedding party, family and friends. Ella Jackson
