Registration for the WashingtonWilkes Little League 2006 program has begun and will continue through February 17.

The program is for boys and girls baseball and also includes girls softball.

The boys and girls baseball ages are five through 15 and girls softball, ages nine through 16.

Participants may register at the Ashley Park office Monday through Friday from 4 to 6 p.m., and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Payment is due with registration. The fee for all leagues is $35 with the exception of tee-ball which is $30. There will be a late registration sign-up from February 18 through February 25. There will be a late charge of $5.00 in addition to the registration fee.

Try-outs are set for Saturday, February 25. Minor League baseball tryouts for ages 9 and 10 will be from 10 a.m.-12:00 on Field 1; and Junior girls softball, ages 9-12, tryouts will be from 10 a.m. to 12:00 on Field 2.

The Major League try-outs for ages 11 and 12 will be from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Field 1; and Senior Girls Softball, ages 13-16, will be from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m., on Field 2.
