The First United Methodist Pre-K is getting ready for Spring Training with Marvin Hudson, the major league baseball umpire. He spoke to the children recently about being an umpire and read them a Dr. Seuss book in celebration of Dr. Seuss' birthday. "All the children were awed by his prescence," said Julie Lewis. "Many of the children want to grow up to be umpires-even some girls. We thank him for taking time out of his busy schedule to visit."
