In last week's law enforcement roundup, Bobby Quarles, 38, of Wilkes County, was incorrectly reported to have been charged with four counts of aggravated assault. He was actually charged with three counts of aggravated assault and one charge of obstruction or hindering law enforcement officers. The News-Reporter regrets the error.
