The WWMS Sweetheart Readers were honored at the Sweetheart Reader Celebration on February 14, 2006. Goodie bags and tiger visors were presented to eighty-five sixth, seventh, and eighth graders who excelled in AR points.

Sixth graders had to have at least 50 points. They must also have earned some of these points during fourth six weeks. Thestudents that met these requirements are as follows: Michael Ardister, Michael Blakely, Caylor Chafin, Charles Dornberg, Will Lawson, Daman Norman, Mallory Powell, Will Souther, Hannah Ward, Alaina Weber, Rebecca Wilson, Devon Cambell, Blake Connell, Keondra Grant, Da'Quan Heard, Trey McAvoy, Itzel Pascual, Dustie Robinson, Joe Rogers, Jarvis Tatum, Brittany Guin, Amber Ellis, Brittany Branham, Jordan Echols, Joel Fair, Jeffery Hackney, David Martin, Hannah McTier, Nicholas Revile, Jonathan Winkle, and Laura Heard.

Seventh grade readers must have had at least 60 points. They must also have earned some of these points during fourth six weeks. The students that met these requirements are as follows: Angela Broom, Mary Clark, Vincent Curry, Ceth Hannis, Dubois Hines, Danyelle Hurley, Keenan Jackson, Mariah Jones, Matson Keiser, Kristin Lukich, Amanda Wood, James McAvoy, Secori Randal, Ryan Stevens, Scott Stevens, Kimbricus Sturgis, Whit Winfrey, Rebecca Yearwood, Thomas Duggan, Mathew Howard, Milton James, Amanda Land, Jacob McKittrick, Mary Ellen Murphy, Kristyn Norman, Brittany Pender, John Pope, Melissa Rodriguez, Shakeema Young, Haley Colvard, Cayla Gilland, Lauren Harrison, Rob Lovvorn, Emily McNure, Ansley Newsome, Dixie Trim, Axll McCarty.

All of the students honored at the celebration were eligible for drawings for books. Students receiving the books for the sixth grade were Jarvis Scott, Hannah Mctier, and Jee Rogers. Seventh grade winners were Angela Broom, James McAvoy, and Rob Lovvorn. Eighth grade winners were Noah West and Robert Rucker. Congratulations to all of these AR readers.
